Design
The Language of Flowers features an incredibly easy lace backdrop with a long, narrow band of floral lace down the center of the shawl. A delicate lace edging is knitted onto the shawl as you bind off the live stitches. The edging consists of a 6-row repeat and is easy to commit to memory. The crescent shape of this shawl is made using simple yarnovers. Every right side row is increased by 2 stitches and every wrong side row is increased by 4. The entire shawl is charted and also includes written instructions.
