Design
Perles de Plume features a pretty plume stitch separated by bands of purl stitches. The cowl begins by working back and forth in a crescent shape, using simple yarn overs. Every right side row is increased by 2 stitches and every wrong side row is increased by 4. The piece is then joined and worked in the round. A picot bind off finishes off the cowl, highlighting the delicate scallops in the lace. A strand of fingering weight and lace weight mohair are held together throughout the entire cowl. The pattern is charted and also includes written instructions.
