Snowdrift (Crochet)

If you’ve been following my designs for the past 7 years, you know that I love to create both crochet and knit versions of my patterns. Last year I released the Snowdrift pattern as a free download with an open license to sell the finished items. The response has been overwhelming. And I’ve had many requests for a crochet version. It only took me about 8 months but here she is!

I used a simple stitch pattern that resembles a thermal fabric. It’s an easy two-row repeat that creates a dense, warm cowl. You can wear it doubled as an infinity cowl or in one long loop.

The best part about this cowl is that it only takes ONE skein of Red Heart With Love. Now, you probably know that I’m a self-proclaimed yarn snob but I have to admit this yarn is HEAVEN. It’s affordable. soft, easy care and it washes beautifully! What more can you ask for. This is the perfect project for your gift-giving as well as for selling to make some extra cash. Win-win.

Enjoy Lovelies!

Hi. I started crocheting this for someones christmas present, but it seems to be growing at a slant, angled towards the rows that begin with ch 2. Do you think I am doing something wrong, or will this be sorted out when I block it? Hope that makes sense! Thank you!

Please, let me know what you think...
